THE TEN LOST TRIBES OF ISRAEL: Are They Returning? is the fourth of six bi-weekly lectures in Shaarei Tefillah Congregation’s Eleventh Annual JEWISH WISDOM FOR LIVING Spring Lecture Series with Rabbi Michael Skobac.
OVERVIEW: Around 2600 years ago, the ten northern tribes of Israel were exiled by the Assyrians. Eventually they became totally disconnected from the remaining two tribes of the Kingdom of Judah and came to be known as the Lost Tribes of Israel.
The Bible has numerous prophesies of their eventual return to reunite with their long lost brethren in the Messianic age. But where are these people now? Over the centuries, there have been various theories about their whereabouts.
Today, some groups have begun claiming to be descendants of the lost tribes and researchers are speculating that other peoples may have Israelite roots. In this video Rabbi Skobac discusses the past, present and future regarding this fascinating topic.
Rabbi Skubac posted his video on 20.5.2021, while today the 25.5.2021 when the Roman Catholic Church remembers the Encyclical Ut Unum Sint from 25.5.1995. Under point 5 of the encyclical we read:
Already in the Old Testament, the Prophet Ezekiel, referring to the situation of God's People at that time, and using the simple sign of two broken sticks which are first divided and then joined together, expressed the divine will to "gather from all sides" the members of his scattered people. "I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Then the nations will know that I the Lord sanctify Israel" (cf. 37:16-28). The Gospel of John, for its part, considering the situation of the People of God at the time it was written, sees in Jesus' death the reason for the unity of God's children: "Jesus would die for the nation, and not for the nation only, but to gather into one the children of God who are scattered abroad" (11:51-52).
In John 11.54 we read:
Therefore Jesus no longer moved about publicly among the people of Judea. Instead he withdrew to a region near the wilderness, to a village called Ephraim, where he stayed with his disciples.

Within this letter, the Pope refers to Lumen Gentium from 21.11.2004, which reads in Chapter 2 about the People of God:
All these things, however, were done by way of preparation and as a figure of that new and perfect covenant, which was to be ratified in Christ, and of that fuller revelation which was to be given through the Word of God Himself made flesh. "Behold the days shall come saith the Lord, and I will make a new covenant with the House of Israel, and with the house of Judah . . . I will give my law in their bowels, and I will write it in their heart, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people . . . For all of them shall know Me, from the least of them even to the greatest, saith the Lord.(86) Christ instituted this new covenant, the new testament, that is to say, in His Blood,(87) calling together a people made up of Jew and gentile, making them one, not according to the flesh but in the Spirit.
Jeremiah Chapter 31 talks in it's length about Ephraim, the lost son of Josef
They will come with weeping; they will pray as I bring them back. I will lead them beside streams of water on a level path where they will not stumble, because I am Israel’s father, and Ephraim is my firstborn son.
Rabbi Skubac mentioned Isaiah 27
And in that day a great trumpet will sound. Those who were perishing in Assyria and those who were exiled in Egypt will come and worship the Lord on the holy mountain in Jerusalem.
“Immediately after the distress of those days “ ‘the sun will be darkened, 20.3.2015 and the moon will not give its light (blood Moons 2014/2015); the stars will fall from the sky, and the heavenly bodies will be shaken.’[2] “Then will appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven. And then all the peoples of the earth[3] will mourn when they see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven, with power and great glory.[4] And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other. Matthew 24.29-31
Since we just passed Pentecost we should point out, that due to a rare calendar alignment the 25.5.2015 was Pentecost and Shavuot on the same day and as Acts 2 and Joel 3 says, We saw signs in the heavens, but also on the earth.
“And afterward, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions. Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days.I will show wonders in the heavens and on the earth, blood and fire and billows of smoke. The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord.And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved; for on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there will be deliverance, as the Lord has said, even among the survivors whom the Lord calls.[3] Joel 2.27-32
The outpouring of the Ruach HaKodesh on all flesh as written already happened 2015, including all signs in the heavens and on the earth to the letter.
On 25.5.2007 I celebrated my 40th in Jerusalem, 25.5.20012 my 45th in Belo Horizonte Brazil, 25.5.2014 my 47th in Berlin, when the representative of Christ visits Jerusalem.
When I wanted to come home to Jerusalem for my 48 and clear up my "issues" one person did everything that this would't happen - Dr. Jürgen Bühler, President of the International Christian Embassy.
I told him straight away that Jesus is not coming anymore, but me as Ephraim, which causing some very nasty reactions with ripple effects up to this day. At least I tried to keep Rabbi Avraham Feld from Kolhator as best as I could in the loop.
From 25.5.2015 I vowed to keep Torah and follow the prophets of Israel up to the day I am back on Mount Zion, which unfortunately will not be today. At least Blinken showed up in a blink of an eye to cover up for his Alzheimer boss, who committed election fraud and paid $200 million to the Palestinians to get the show going.
The prophet Zachariah "Jah remembers" foresees in Chapter 9 the return of Ephraim in direct connection with a final defeat of the Palestinian terrorist before the kingdom of peace, when Ephraim and Judah are going together.
I will bend Judah as I bend my bow and fill it with Ephraim. I will rouse your sons, Zion, against your sons, Greece, and make you like a warrior’s sword. Then the Lord will appear over them; his arrow will flash like lightning. The Sovereign Lord will sound the trumpet; he will march in the storms of the south, Zachariah 9.13-14
