In a recent article "Why Israel?" published 9.7.2021 on the website of the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem, the president Dr. Jürgen Bühler from Heidenheim, Germany asks Christians
I invite you to take your Bible and consider with me ten reasons why all believers in Jesus should support, bless and stand with God’s chosen people, the Jews.
Bühler continues:
Reason #1 God loves Israel!
The prophet Jeremiah states very clearly: “The people who survived the sword found grace in the wilderness...” The Lord has appeared of old to me, saying: “Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you. Again I will build you, and you shall be rebuilt, O virgin of Israel! ….” (Jeremiah 31:2–4). After a season of judgement (‘the sword’), God is motivated by His ‘everlasting love’ to restore Israel. Note that it is an everlasting love… unceasing, never ending! It was this love which birthed God’s plan with Israel (Deuteronomy 7:7) and this love will also bring it to a glorious end (Romans 11:25-28).
Someone once asked me: “How can God love a sinful nation like Israel?” The answer is simple: By the same unconditional love the Lord has towards the Church. Indeed, “while we were still sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8). So here is a simple rule for all believers: We should love what Jesus loves. How is your love for Israel? Just ask God to give you His love for the Jewish people!
Jeremiah 31 clearly shows that the Jewish People and Israel are two different people, who are joining forces, once the firstborn Ephraim is born, grows up and becomes the catalyst for a new covenant.
Again you will plant vineyards on the hills of Samaria; the farmers will plant them and enjoy their fruit. There will be a day when watchmen cry out on the hills of Ephraim, ‘Come, let us go up to Zion, to the Lord our God.’ ” Jeremiah 31.5-6
They will come with weeping; they will pray as I bring them back. I will lead them beside streams of water on a level path where they will not stumble, because I am Israel’s father, and Ephraim is my firstborn son. Jeremiah 31.9
“The days are coming,” declares the Lord, “when I will plant the kingdoms of Israel and Judah with the offspring of people and of animals. Jeremiah 31.27
One of the big issues within Christianity is the believe, that with Jesus the "New Covenant" is already in place and the Jews just have to accept Jesus. Christians are already partakers of this New Covenant, which is clearly promised to Israel and the Jewish people.
“The days are coming,” declares the Lord, “when I will make a new covenant with the people of Israel and with the people of Judah. Jeremiah 31.31
For over 20 years now, the leadership of the ICEJ insists, that all Israelites in the Old Testament are "Jews", while every believer in Jesus is a "gentile", with no connection to the ancient Israelites whatsoever and falsely applies Romans 11.25 to the Jewish people.
I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers and sisters, so that you may not be conceited: Israel has experienced a hardening in part until the full number of the Gentiles has come in, and in this way all Israel will be saved. As it is written: “The deliverer will come from Zion; he will turn godlessness away from Jacob. Romans 11.25-26
In the Hebrew translation of the New Testament in Romans 11.25 the expression for "Full number of the gentiles" is מלוא הגויים "Meloh HaGoyim" and appears only once in the Hebrew scriptures.
But his father refused and said, “I know, my son, I know. He too will become a people, and he too will become great. Nevertheless, his younger brother will be greater than he, and his descendants will become a multitude of nations. מלא הגוים” Genesis 48.19
Neither Jeremiah's "virgin Israel" nor Romans 11.25-28 speaks about "the Jews", but Israel and in particular Ephraim, the firstborn heir of Jacob.
He blessed them that day and said, “In your name will Israel pronounce this blessing: ‘May God make you like Ephraim and Manasseh.’ ” So he put Ephraim ahead of Manasseh. Genesis 48.20
Since the year 2000, the ICEJ left the basis of the Hebrew scriptures and teaches now a new type of replacement theology, where Israel becomes Judah and Ephraim doesn't exists.
Bühler compares the love for the sinful northern kingdom of Israel and Ephraim, the lost son with the "unconditional love for the church".
The "Church" is an organisation, with King Francis as the 8th king of the VatikanCity Kingdom handed to the Papacy on 11.2.1929 by Fascist Benito Mussolini.
The woman was dressed in purple and scarlet, and was glittering with gold, precious stones and pearls. She held a golden cup in her hand, filled with abominable things and the filth of her adulteries. The name written on her forehead was a mystery: Babylon the great the mother of prostitutes and of the abominations of the earth. I saw that the woman was drunk with the blood of God’s holy people, the blood of those who bore testimony to Jesus. When I saw her, I was greatly astonished. Revelation 17.4-6
Since the core teaching of the church is the trinity and the divinity of Jesus from Nazareth, the church became an idol worshiping harlot.
Bühler explains "So here is a simple rule for all believers: We should love what Jesus loves."
Therefore Jesus no longer moved about publicly among the people of Judea. Instead he withdrew to a region near the wilderness, to a village called Ephraim, where he stayed with his disciples. John 11.54
After Jesus saw that his own people would kill him, he leaves his own people to search out the firstborn heir of Israel. Jesus and his disciples stayed with Ephraim, God's firstborn son.
Jesus clearly loves Ephraim.
because I am Israel’s father, and Ephraim is my firstborn son. Jeremiah 31.9
Jesus explains the love of God for his Son in John 5.19-27
“Very truly I tell you, the Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does. For the Father loves the Son and shows him all he does. Yes, and he will show him even greater works than these, so that you will be amazed. [1]For just as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, even so the Son gives life to whom he is pleased to give it. Moreover, the Father judges no one, but has entrusted all judgment to the Son, that all may honor the Son just as they honor the Father. [2]Whoever does not honor the Son does not honor the Father, who sent him. “Very truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life. [3]Very truly I tell you, a time is coming and has now come when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God and those who hear will live. For as the Father has life in himself, so he has granted the Son also to have life in himself. [4]And he has given him authority to judge because he is the Son of Man.
[1] The raising of the dead is described in Ezekiel 37.1-15. From Ezekiel 37.16-28 two people come out of their graves. Ephraim holds the "stick" of Joseph, which is the birthright. Very practically the modern State of Israel was founded 14.5.1948 and it is of no debate, that the returning people were the Jewish people, who took the City of Jerusalem 1967, 54 years ago.
‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: I am going to take the stick of Joseph—which is in Ephraim’s hand—and of the Israelite tribes associated with him, and join it to Judah’s stick. I will make them into a single stick of wood, and they will become one in my hand.’ Ez. 37.19
According to Ezekiel 37 Ephraim is "the firstborn from the dead". According to the Vice president of the ICEJ David Parsons, in an JPost Article from 10.10.2010 the plain meaning of Ezekiel's vision is "flawed"
Based largely on a flawed interpretation of the prophetic vision in Ezekiel 37 of the two sticks of Judah and Ephraim being rejoined, this is a mystical belief that many Christian Zionists today are actually descended from the “Lost Ten Tribes of Israel.” They ‘sense’ that God is drawing them back to the Jewish fold through Jesus and their heart-felt love for Israel.
Taken to its extreme, some Ephraimite teachers maintain that, as blood descendants of the ancient Israelites, adherents must observe the Law, thereby departing from the core New Testament belief that salvation is by faith. Some also teach a limited atonement; that Jesus came only for the “lost sheep of the House of Israel.”
Jesus himself explains in Matthew 5.17-20 to observe the Law!
“Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished. Therefore anyone who sets aside one of the least of these commands and teaches others accordingly will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven.
"Anyone" would be David Parsons, Dr. Jürgen Bühler, Malcolm Hedding and the rest of the leadership of the ICEJ, who were called out for their action against the faith of Israel by the Chief Rabbis of Israel.
The chief Rabbis of Israel (below with the Pope) condemned Dr. Jürgen Bühler and the teachings of the ICEJ already 2015 for the Restoration Feast of Tabernacles. Here is an article for the upcoming Court Case as it is written "And he has given him authority to judge because he is the Son of Man."

While we are still in a democracy with religious freedom to believe whatever you want to believe, Israel is a Kingdom and is built on the Torah of Moses and the Prophets of Israel.
[2] The ICEJ was founded 1980, 13 years in a reestablished Jerusalem and for 20 years taught the ingathering of the exiles aka the return of the 10 lost tribes of Israel up until the presidency of South African Pentecostal pastor Malcolm Hedding, who wrote the Ephraim Fable 2011 for the new president Dr. Jürgen Bühler, who drifted off into replacement theology.
[3] The dead Israelites from Ezekiel 37 were able to hear the voice of the son in Jerusalem starting from 1996 up to his departure from Jerusalem 2007 at the age of 40.
[4] The son of man is a prominent term predominantly used in the book of Ezekiel. In Daniel 7.13 "Son of Man" is used to describe that the "son of God" is "just" a human being and not as Christians claim "god incarnated on earth" as vigorously put into dogma by the Roman Catholic Church, who still claims infallibility and the position as "representative of Christ", latin "Vicarious Christi" greek "Anti Christ" and celebrates the death of the Lord, until he comes.
Instead of dealing with every little fringe group of Christianity the Jewish people accepted the leadership of the Pope and ran the "abomination of desolation" of which Daniel speaks. In Matthew 24 Jesus himself told all living in Judea to watch out for this event, which happens short before the son of man returns to Jerusalem. The arrival of the Pope was on the 47th birthday of the firstborn, 7 years after he left Jerusalem.
On 26.5.2014 the Pope visited the Temple Mount and started his tour around the world.
Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the man doomed to destruction. Only since 26.5.2016 the EU working definition on Anti-Semitism from the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance was introduced to lawmakers in the US and the EU.
“Antisemitism is a certain perception of Jews, which may be expressed as hatred toward Jews. Rhetorical and physical manifestations of antisemitism are directed toward Jewish or non-Jewish individuals and/or their property, toward Jewish community institutions and religious facilities.”
Besides the fact that "Ephraim" is a non-jewish individual, there are countless non-jewish Israelites, who all do their best to observe the law.
Especially since Germany held the presidency of the IHRA in 2020, the fight against antisemitism by government institutions is growing. Even the ICEJ joined the fight against antisemitism, assuming that their position on Ephraim and the core believe of the New Testament is sharing "the love of Christ".
If anybody would interchange "Ephraim" with "Judah" in all their written statements and articles on Ephraim and the lost tribes of Israel, the statements would be immediately recognised as antisemitic and anti-zionist.
It might still take a while till things are sorted out, but as Jesus said himself: every word of the prophets will be fulfilled. Including the return of Ephraim to Jerusalem to join the Jewish people.
I will bend Judah as I bend my bow and fill it with Ephraim. I will rouse your sons, Zion, against your sons, Greece, and make you like a warrior’s sword. Zachariah 9.13
